By 2023, these 30 Yuejiujiu electric tricycles had achieved "three years with zero rust-through and zero failures", while 12 of the ordinary steel tricycles put into service at the same time had already been forced out of use by severe corrosion. "Steel tricycles used to develop rust holes within half a year, and washing them was a chore," says Li Ahai, owner of Seafood Stall No. 16. "I've used the Yuejiujiu Stainless Steel Electric Tricycle for over three years and there isn't a spot of rust on it. The quality really is far better than an ordinary steel tricycle."
